And if you think about markets for other things, let's say a car or a pound of apples, if you went to a store and said, I want to buy a pound of apples, and how much is it going to be? And the store won't tell you, then you're going to go down the block to another store that will tell you the price. In a competitive market, prices are revealed. The fact that there really isn't price transparency is arguably evidence that these markets, for at least the hospital services that you've described, are really not competitive or they're deficient in some way.
