How to play in your own major league?

How to Play in Your Own Major League:

Watching the World Cup this year, I was fascinated by the mindset of the teams on the field.

I noticed something that felt deeply relevant—not just for athletes, but for all of us building a life, a career, or a mission that truly matters.

There seem to be two kinds of teams:

Teams that are used to winning. For them, losing feels strange. It’s almost as if, internally, the idea of losing doesn’t fully register as normal.

Yes, of course, in reality they sometimes lose—but in the middle of the game, their mindset is:

“Losing is not really an option. This situation is temporary. We’ll find a way to win.”

Teams that are not used to winning.

Just arriving at the World Cup already feels like a victory.

When they start winning, they relax:“We’ve done it. We got this.”

And then, when they’re suddenly overtaken, they are shocked:

“How did we lose? We were already winning…”

This difference isn’t really about talent. It’s about inner freedom and emotional stability—how you relate to circumstances, whether you’re “ahead” or “behind,” whether you’re winning or losing.

And that’s exactly what I’ve been working on in my own life and mission.

Read more: https://www.transitioninghumanitarians.org/Join my transitioning humanitarians (TH) community combo of individual and group coaching for 600 USD for six months by sending me an email asel@transitioninghumanitarians.org

Join my free Emotional Freedom marathon coming up this Monday, 6 July 2026 here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1993042497762?aff=oddtdtcreator

Celebrations!

Why Your Past Wins Matter When You’re Struggling

There are weeks when everything feels like a failure. You know you’re capable of more, yet you watch yourself procrastinate, self-sabotage, and then use circumstances as excuses. On the outside, it may not even look “that bad” to others. But inside your own mind, it can feel incredibly heavy.

This week was one of those weeks for me. And that’s exactly why I wanted to dedicate this reflection to celebration—not just of wins, but of the energy and identity that create those wins in the first place.

Because if you’re in a difficult season right now, your past celebrations are not just nice memories. They’re evidence of who you are at your core.

If this is you, come coach with me. https://calendly.com/aselormonova/consult-1

$100k Level Breaking Ceilings

How to Break Your Own Ceiling (Without Hustle, Drama, or Proving Yourself)

We often talk about “breaking the glass ceiling” in institutions, but far less about the ceilings we quietly install in our own minds.

These are the limits we accept on what we can earn, how much impact we’re allowed to have, and who we’re “realistically” allowed to become.

For many humanitarians, these ceilings feel factual and fixed—just “how the world works.”

In my work with humanitarian clients, and in my own journey, I’ve learned that these ceilings are rarely objective truth.

They are stories. Powerful, convincing, and often inherited stories—but stories nonetheless.

In this episode, I want to share:

What I mean by a ceilingHow we unconsciously reinforce our ceilings

The three main sources of these limitsHow I’m intentionally breaking my own ceiling to create 100k/month level impact

Practical questions you can ask yourself to start breaking your own ceiling

All of this, importantly, without hustle culture, without drama, and without tying your worth to your results.

If you want to break your ceilings that keep you stuck, come coach with me.

Book your consult here: https://calendly.com/aselormonova/consult-1

If you want to read the blog post on this topic, go here: https://www.transitioninghumanitarians.org/#/podcast
