<p>Narjes &amp; Amber are delighted to have a very special guest on today to discuss grief in the workplace and how that can effect people.&nbsp;Lynn gets real and raw as she takes us through her own personal journey through illness, death and grief inside her family. How that lead her to shift her perspective from lack of trust, the fear of showing up and being judged as weak to discovering a new part of herself. Today along with her conscious leadership and community work she brings awareness on the reality of navigating this difficult journey and helping others through their own care taking and grief process inside and outside of the workplace.</p> <p>Through her story we learn the importance of why leaders need to create a culture of authenticity that in turn leaves room for a spectrum of emotions for employees to feel connected and safe to lean into. She shares the impact of how letting go of old mindsets such as leaving our employees to compartmentalize their personal struggles on their own, and instead asks organizations and leaders to humanize the workplace environment, embracing the check in process to help them navigate their way through.</p> <p>How we keep it human: We just want to remind everyone, leaders and employees alike, who is or has experienced a difficult journey of illness, death and grief...you are not alone and asking for help is ok.
