Walking Out At The Right Time: Anis Ibrahim
Anis Ibrahim quit her steady job as an online news editor to become a freelance travel writer in 2012. Since then, Anis has travelled to 44 countries and walked on long trails including The Cleveland Way, Ridgeway, Dales Way (England), Alpujarras (Spain), West Highland Way (Scotland), Causeway Coast Way (Northern Ireland), the Portuguese Camino (Spain-Portugal), Poon Hill Trek (Nepal), and day hikes in New Zealand.

Rolypops by Lyza Ghazali's journey into cake decorating business started with creating wedding gifts or hantaran. Lyza later realized that for some reason she could bake good cakes. But baking alone does not ensure a successful venture. “Business entails a whole range of skills, business acumen, accounting, marketing.” Lyza shares her experience in breaking into the tough cake decorating business after quitting a desk job. “People do fondant cakes but why do people want to buy my cakes?” Perhaps a combination of the design, taste, and promise of delivery says Lyza.
