<p>Michael Gonzalez is the ETHAN Project Program Director, which is part of the Houston Fire Department.</p> <p>Houston has experienced a very rapid population growth and that flooded their 911 center. </p> <p>The city had use vehicles and personnel as efficiently as possible and, for that, they tried several different approaches.</p> <p>In 2014, the Emergency TeleHealth and Navigation (ETHAN) Project was born. It was system powered by mobile devices and 4G connectivity, which went from tablets to telemedicine, patient charting and drone piloting.</p> <p>It's an example of how to get to more people without having to spend more money, saving the city of Houston millions of dollars every year since then.</p> <p><br></p>

Cardiologista.<br> No dia 20 de julho de 2018, data em que completou 70 anos, despediu-se do SNS.</p> <p>Nasceu em Leiria, mas iniciou a carreira em Lourenço Marques (atualmente Maputo), de onde mudou para Joanesburgo.</p> <p>Desde 21 de março de 1988, quando deixou África do Sul para liderar o Serviço de Cirurgia Cardiotorácica dos Hospitais da Universidade de Coimbra, esteve em 25 mil cirurgias de coração aberto.</p> <p>No Centro de Cirurgia Cardiotorácica (CCT) criou um centro de referência a nível nacional e internacional, agora no Edifício Prof. Doutor Manuel Antunes, a sua gestão valeu o aparecimento da expressão "manuelantunização", sinónimo de boa e eficiente gestão.</p>
