Always Stay Prepared Episode 3
Step into the world of bulldogs where experience meets education and passion becomes purpose. In Episode 3, "Always Stay Prepared," host Jason Carvalho and co-host Bobby Couto deliver a raw, behind-the-scenes look at the extreme highs and agonizing lows of responsible bulldog breeding.
When Jason’s bulldog, Ginger, went into premature labor with a surprise litter of 10 puppies, it became a harrowing race against time. From plummeting oxygen levels and emergency vet interventions to the grueling reality of tube-feeding fragile pups every two hours, this episode strips away the glamour to reveal the true grit required to keep a vulnerable litter alive. Plus, Hall of Fame breeders John and Karla Thompson of Big Thompson Bulldogs drop in to share how a chance encounter on a Florida beach sparked a 15-year dedication to the breed.
