Faith-based podcast about abstinence, singleness, and being saved as a millennial. Jasmine Unique displays her spiritual journey including the realities, struggles, as well as joys!
Welcome to the Car Conversations, where I freely speak on whatever is on my heart and mind.
In this episode, we delve into the common struggle of feeling disappointed in ourselves due to our past actions and the importance of extending grace to ourselves.
We all experience moments in life where we may have made mistakes, hurt others, or made choices that we regret. These experiences can leave us feeling burdened, ashamed, and stuck in a cycle of self-blame and self-punishment.
But here's the thing: just as God extends forgiveness to us, it's crucial that we learn to forgive ourselves. Holding onto past faults and dwelling in self-condemnation only hinders our growth and prevents us from embracing the present and future with open hearts.
In this mini podcast episode, we dive into the reasons why self-forgiveness is essential for personal healing and self-growth. We believe that by forgiving ourselves, we can create space for personal transformation, healing, and ultimately, a more fulfilling and joyful life.

Lets Talk Deep: Renew Your Mind (Intro)
Did you know that 95 percent of our brains activity is unconscious, meaning that the majority of the decisions we make, the actions we take, our emotions and behaviors are based on thoughts and learned behaviors that we are not aware of?! (Marra, 2021)
What does this mean? This ultimately means that the things that we do on a day-to-day basis are governed by our thought patterns and our mind.
Our thought patterns can help drive us to success or push us towards failure.
Wouldn't you like to have awareness and control over your thoughts?! Your thoughts affect your reality. It is critical that we learn to control our thoughts and be the person that God has created us to be!
Listen while I share some helpful tips on how I overcame anxiety and depression.

Living Sacrifice | Let Go of Your Fleshly Desires
Temptation is strong and our fleshy desires are always present in our lives. When it comes down to the wire, are you allowing your flesh to win or are you fighting back and letting your spirit take over? I discuss how sex was a stronghold in my life and how I made the choice to become abstinent. The journey hasn't always been easy, but I had to make a decision to let go of what my flesh wanted and to offer my body as a living sacrifice unto God. What currently has a hold on you? What are you looking to do this year that just seems "too challenging"? Allow God to transform your mind and your way of thinking so that you can fight back and deny your flesh.
I highly recommend this episode, if you are:
Thinking about being abstinent
If you are struggling with being consistent and want to become disciplined
If you are allowing your fleshy desires to take control of your life
If you have allowed negativity, fear, doubt, or unbelief to control your mind
If you need God to help transform your way of thinking
I AM AFFIRMATIONS AND DECREES
I AM a child of the Most High God!
I AM special!
I AM significant!
I AM loved!
I AM the head and NOT the tail.
I AM above and NOT beneath.
I AM a lender and NOT a borrower.
I AM the apple of God’s eye.
I AM the pride of his heart and the object of his affection.
I AM a Masterpiece!
I AM created in the image of God!
I AM wonderful!
I AM valuable!
I AM a Child of the Most High God!
I AM Handpicked by God!
I AM smart!
I AM intelligent!
I AM Wise!
I AM a listener!
I AM attentive.
I AM a lover.
I AM a believer, not a doubter!
I AM walking in faith and NOT by sight!
I AM walking in God’s vision for my life!
I AM healthy!
I AM wealthy!
I AM a good steward with my finances!
I AM creative!
I AM the focus of God’s attention!
I AM salt!
I AM light!
I AM chosen!
I AM royal!
I AM loyal!
I AM peculiar!
I AM fearfully and wonderfully made!
I AM DRIVEN!
I will go after what you have called me to!
I AM SUCCESSFUL!
Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.
Outside wells (people or things) are NOT able to adequately satisfy the thirst of my soul.
GOD IS my thirst quencher.
GOD IS my savior.
GOD IS the forgiver of my sin.
GOD IS the leader of my life.
I’m NOT perfect but I AM ENOUGH!
I’m God’s and HE IS MINE!
He is in me but I’m also in him.
God knew me before I was in my mother’s womb.
God put EVERYTHING in me that needed to be in me for me to do what he built me for.
There is something in me that I haven’t discovered yet. That is beyond what I could ever ask for or think.
I will no longer doubt myself because I’m already in the line of my miracle.
I’m already where God has told me to be.
God makes ALL things work for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.
There is NOTHING in my room (wherever God places me), no obstacles, or no inadequacies that God is not going to use to work together for my good.
So, I’m celebrating even when it looks like I’m losing because I recognize that my miracle is already in the room because I recognize that God has sent me.
I don’t have to worry about not being qualified or not being smart enough or not having the credentials to do what God has called me to do.

CONFESSIONS | ... but I don't want to change! I miss the old me.
We usually embrace and welcome change when it's in our favor. We welcome it with open doors when we are growing, elevating, and bossing up; however, we shut that door SLAMMED CLOSED when it requires us to change in ways that we did not anticipate or expect for our lives. In life, we have to put away the old things and head to the new! We can't hold on to our old ways and habits and expect to elevate. Welcome the new and embrace the change that God has for you!
