S3 Ep 9 The Glow Getter with Sharon Wilkes-Burt

I recently had the most wonderful time chatting with "The Glow Up Guide", Sharon Wilkes-Burt; Perth-based Confidence Coach and host of the Unravelling podcast. For over 35 years, Sharon built a highly successful career as a professional hair and makeup artist and educator. But along the way, she had a profound realisation: the true "gold nugget" of her work wasn't the physical transformations she was creating, it was the deep, behind-the-scenes mentoring and the honest conversations happening in her chair. Realising it was time for her own life to change, Sharon made a massive pivot. Right in the thick of life’s "messy middle" and battling peri-menopausal brain fog, she went back to school to become a certified professional coach. Today, she uses that hard-won wisdom to help women unlock the mind gremlins that keep them playing small. Her philosophy is beautifully simple: confidence doesn't come from forcing yourself to be perfect. It comes from radical self-kindness. Sharon doesn't just teach confidence; she creates the space where it shows up, helping women gain the clarity and courage to stop hiding, step into visibility, and finally feel safe being seen. Upon listening, please do yourself a favour: Be sure to jump with both feet into Sharon's brand new online meeting place, The Glow Up Lounge (https://www.skool.com/the-glow-lounge-9367/about). The amazing free community is a safe, sacred space where women in the messy middle of midlife can find makeup, mindset, and confidence support — real tutorials, real talk, and real women cheering each other on. S3 Ep 8 It's All Connected with Kristy Dillon

In this convo, we're so lucky to welcome back the amazing Kristy Dillon, of India Grace Holistics (https://www.indiagraceholistics.com.au/). It's been two years between chats with this incredible woman, and SO MUCH has changed. All the while, so much remains the same, including her unwavering passion for helping other free radicals to heal, grow and evolve. Kristy spent years collecting "your bloods are fine" from specialists who had no further ideas. So she became the person she needed - a counsellor, functional nutrition practitioner and energy healer who looks at your biology, your lifestyle, your nervous system and the whole damn picture, not just the symptom in front of her. As she'll soon tell you, it's all connected. Somatic work, IFS, EMDR - she's trained in the serious stuff that we're all Googling. But some of it isn't trainable. Some of it's a grandmother who knew her way around herbs and intuition long before Kristy had language for either, and a stubborn refusal to pretend the body isn't a little bit magic. Kristy's the founder of India Grace Holistics (https://www.indiagraceholistics.com.au/), based in Wangaratta. She works with women across Australia and beyond, who are over being told everything's normal when it so clearly isn't. Tune in today, and check out Kristy @indiagraceholistics (https://www.instagram.com/indiagraceholistics/) and Linda (host) @lindarobynhypnotherapy (https://www.instagram.com/lindarobynhypnotherapy/) on Instagram. While she provides valuable insights, particularly concerning contraindications, side effects, and interactions with food, she abstains from offering explicit advice regarding medication adjustments. Her primary directive remains urging individuals to maintain awareness and exercise caution, strongly advocating for consultation with a qualified medical practitioner before contemplating any modifications to their medication or health/wellbeing regimen. S3 Ep 7 How are your Protections serving you?

How are your protections driving you, and how is that working out for you? Our protections are laid down at a young age, when we don't have the autonomy, agency or maturity to effect the material changes we needed or desired in our worlds and situations. Embedded from a young age, for the very purpose of our survival, these behaviours, strategies and inner resources continue to serve us today - often working loyally and tirelessly outside our awareness, with the intention of keeping us safe and protecting us from pain. Despite their abilities to drive us on autopilot, they continue their operation today as they did all those years ago, running on outdated information - unaware of the skills, capabilities and capacities we have as developed and mature adults who now have choice and agency to choose safe places, spaces, relationships. Here we unpack the work of accessing (and liberating) the beautiful, infinitely wise authentic self that exists beyond the barrier of our protections. So that we can be who we really are, and allow life to flow in and through us from this place of authenticity - perpetuating a wellspring of love, vitality and creativity.
