The reason why there are 63 million girls and women missing from India's population, female feticide is a huge part of that because it's just unknown how many baby girls have been aborted just because they're female. And so we learned about female feticide. We learned about deadly neglect or just abuse. There's actually a little girl that I met on my last trip to India, which was just in March of 2022. Her name is Deyashree and she was unwanted by her father because he wanted a son. And she was one of three little girls in her family.
