"Can I Call You Daddy?" (with Chris Bedding)
We have a Chrismas special for you! That's right, not a Christmas special, but a Chris-mas special, because our guest is Father Chris Bedding. Chris is a performer, an activist, a union leader, and also (as you might have guessed) an Anglican priest. In this episode he tells us all about life as a faith worker, the role of sitcoms in how people view priests, the possession of printers, and many many photos of department stores. Bonus Episode: Make Your Own Slippery Dip (with Freddie Ramos)
Last week's guest Freddie Ramos has created a hands-on activity based on our conversation in the episode. It takes about an hour, so set aside some time, get yourself some crafting materials, and practice throwing your hands in the air and going 'wheeeee!' If you'd prefer written instructions, you can find them here: bit.do/FRMYOS (http://bit.do/FRMYOS) You can see Freddie's model slippery dip here: bit.do/FRExample (http://bit.do/FRExample) Follow Freddie on Instagram @StoriesWithFreddie (https://instagram.com/storieswithfreddie) Follow the show on (https://www.instagram.com/igetthatalotpod/)Instagram @IGetThatALotPod (https://www.instagram.com/igetthatalotpod/) Support us on Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/jimfishwick) Louie Zong's website (https://louiezong.com/)

Are You Ready, Freddie? (with Freddie Ramos)
Freddie Ramos is a writer, theatremaker and teaching artist who will, on occasion, be asked if they're ready. And what rhymes with 'ready'? You're not going to believe this... In this episode, Freddie Ramos spills the beans, alongside discussions of Luau party rage, Catalonian folk heroes, not being Steve, a quickfire round on children’s books, and of course, the Australian word for Slide. Double Trouble (with Hannah Mooney)
It's a crossover episode! Hannah Mooney, of That's The Ticket, joins us to unleash the myriad jokes that she gets about her name, people's complete un-understanding (would that just be derstanding then?) of events and producing, and the difficulties of being a twin, including the spookiest tale ever told on the show! Alex The B*ll*cks (with Alex McMillan)
Alex McMillan loves TV. They've worked in it as a writer and researcher. They're in the know on all kinds of reality TV formats. Yes, I Know What It Means (With Tara McEntee)
Tara McEntee does a serious thing and a fun thing. The serious thing is working in public health on communicable diseases (including, y'know, the big one at the moment). And then the fun thing is comedy! She tells us all about her two lives, when they cross, and the unfortunate homophone of her name in Te Reo Maori. Along the way, we also talk about Grindr, gifted and talented classes, squeamish doctors, and the smell of cookies getting into your pores. Show Me A Trick! (with "Alex")
Alex Hope is a hacker. No wait, let me rephrase that. Alex does some hacking. They also do some magic. This leads to many people starting off with completely the wrong idea about their line of work. Do hackers sit in the dark watching complicated green text, typing furiously and talking about 'mainframe firewall contrafabulation'? Are magicians ready to fight at the drop of the hat? Did Alex buy two pairs of shoes to mix and match? All of this, and more, will be answered in this week's episode. Benny and the Jets (with Benny Marama)
For award-winning playwright Benny Marama, the joke he gets about his name is simply his name, albeit sung in falsetto in the style of Elton John. This makes him harrumph. Harrumph I tell you! He tells us all about it in this episode, along with other name-based assumptions people make, the art of naming characters in his plays, and a beautiful story about his nana. Here Comes The Bridie (with Bridie Connell)
There are a lot of factors that will affect your views on marriage. Religion. Feminism. Having a name that's a syllable longer than one of the main words involved. Y'know, the usual. Bridie Connell is an ARIA-award winning comedian, whose work you would have seen on Whose Line Is It Anyway Australia, Tonightly, and The Moth Effect. She goes deep on the impact her name's had on her life, on her relationship with reviews and getting recognised, and trying to feel young when teaching. You Can Beat The Cigarette (with Nicolette Chin)
Nicolette Chin (//twitter.com/nicolettechin) ("Nicolette Conchita Chin, no less" in her words) has jokes about her name coming at her from all angles. Nicolette is an unusual name to start with (unless you're a French grandma or, oddly, at Nicolette Chin's high school), but then add on the surname Chin and people get overwhelmed with choice. She tells us all about it in this episode, alongside discussions of not playing the harp, not being called Nicholas, and what audiobook producers are like.
