[…] But there is a lot of emotional burden to doing this job. And sometimes we are the ones walking into the rooms, the only ones with the receipts, the only ones being told yes or no. And we're the only ones fighting. And that's kind of Buffy in a nutshell. If I had to come up with a better, I couldn't come up with a better analogy. Like she's alone fighting these demons. She's the only one who knows. Her mother doesn't even know until season two. And she doesn't even believe her then at that point. And she can't really tell anybody. And she has the same set of friends. They don't really expand outside of the friend group really until they meet like a witch and another demon. […]
