Video – The Church: No Tithes & Offering Needed?!
Video – The Black church has a long history of social and political activism, and has often been at the forefront of efforts to bring about social change. However, it is also true that the Black church, like many other institutions, has had to adapt and find new ways to thrive in the face of changing economic and social conditions. In this episode, we explore the role of economics in the Black church and how it can be leveraged to create impact. Dr. Lance McCarthy, as a nationally recognized faith-based economist and former president of the Orlando National Urban League, lends valuable insights on this topic. He shares his perspective on how the Black church can thrive through acquisitions rather than relying on tithes and offerings alone, and how it can use economics as a tool for creating positive change in the world. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/matthew-newman8/support (https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/matthew-newman8/support)
