Sometimes they agree, sometimes they argue, but either way, they still have to live together.

The plot follows a young man in a small Oklahoma town who becomes involved with a family of nomadic American vampires.

   Vampire season continues with this week’s movie: the 1983 erotic horror thriller The Hunger! Our discussion of this artsy vampire movie featuring Susan Sarandon, Catherine Deneuve, and David Bowie goes exactly where you think it would; NYC real estate values, body switching, Bauhaus, husband upgrades, goths, wine preferences, phonebooth youth, monkey murder, and so much more! I Love This You Should Too is hosted by Samantha and Indy Randhawa The Hunger is a 1983 erotic horror film directed by Tony Scott in his directorial debut, starring Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie and Susan Sarandon. An international co-production of the United States and the United Kingdom,[2] the film is a loose adaptation of the 1981 novel of the same name by Whitley Strieber, with a screenplay by Ivan Davis and Michael Thomas. Its plot concerns a vampire (Deneuve) who bestows immortality and apparently eternal youth on her lovers. However, the latter proves unreliable, and her lover at the beginning of the film (Bowie) undergoes rapid ageing, leading her to take a new lover, a doctor who specialises in sleep and ageing research (Sarandon). The film's special effects were handled by make-up effects artist Dick Smith.

Dracula refuses, however, and insults Mamuwalde by making a pass at his wife, Luva. After a scuffle with Dracula's minions, Mamuwalde is bitten by Dracula and transformed into a vampire while dead. Dracula then curses him with the name "Blacula" and imprisons him in a sealed coffin in a crypt hidden beneath his castle while leaving Luva with Mamuwalde to die in the chamber.
