For the people who get told “it’s not that serious” in conversation. To those who have put on a mussel so others are more comfortable. To those who are frequently made uncomfortable. To those who fear nothing but failure. To those with depth that has no bounds. To those who laugh from a healthy place. To my people.
I think we may struggle with the concept of positive and negative reinforcement! Discipline is also used as someone’s “wheel house” and me being rather pensive (deep in thought most days with a mouth and mind that works at top speed) I try my best to consider one’s circumstance. I’m not sure if people understand “humble beginnings” or never forgetting “where you came from”… if I truly desire to be Christ-like (Christian) I must be mindful who I speak to… everyone thinks they’re their own representative which isn’t always true- it should be. At any rate, I think YOUR perception is your reality (and your truth). Speak what resonates with you and show grace. Be grateful; it’s all your perception. 🧐

Mentorship❣️
I personally feel that my mentors has saved my life more than once in my career. The beauty of it is that you can share your very human experience with them, my job said they had to be above me but that isn’t always the case. The people above me tended to do the most harm because they couldn’t meet me where I was, too bogged down by their own experiences… extremely ornery. You can be mentored in a moment by seeking counsel and have a very specific conversation. Iron sharpens IRON. I caution you to never suffer in silence, speak your mind and find peace. Find refuge in a friend, a mentor.

Good kid, great credit!
Here’s a look into how I conceptualized credit. My first time checking mine was a huge move for me. My understanding of credit grew as and my fear came to a halt.

We the people want to know!
This podcast highlights what intentions mean; how we should navigate them as we work to further our understanding of one and other. We share this earth with many different personalities with a plethora of environmental factors. Whether it be culture difference or geographical it can be argued that we often “choose violence” when our intentions are in question. I caution you to not allow your emotions to deafen your ears and that you open your heart to receive a correction in love. Also show yourself grace and have mercy on those who are seemingly “questioning” your intentions.
