About I'm Still Rolling

Mike Sugerman and Janice Wright, two life long broadcast reporters for CBS had their lives thrown into the cement mixer after 42 years of marriage. Mike had a post surgical spinal cord stroke that left him a paraplegic, and left Janice to care for him. But Mike kept on rolling. Now they use their journalistic skills to dig deep into the world of disability, with all of it's difficulties and sometimes, it's joy and meaning. They don't shy away from laughing and sharing intimate details of their new life. And with their press passes they open doors into celebrities and regular people's lives. It's, it's, you know, pain, vomiting, and diarrhea is also malnutrition, fatigue, those sorts of things. But also you can have bleed rectally, which has happened with me as well. And so people tend to stay inside. And if you're in a lot of pain or you're, you know, you're, if you're going to the bathroom 10 or more times a day, you're not going to go to work, you know, So it's disabling, very definitely.
