<p>I've been broadcasting for over 26 years and I've chatted to some amazing people. Pop stars, actors, joe Public - and I thought I'd share some of those interviews with you. Most of these will be from the radio shows I presented over the years on LBC, Virgin, Absolute, TalkRadio, BBC 3 Counties, BBC WM, Radio 4, BBC Radio 4 Extra, Capital, XFM and probably a few others I've forgotten about.</p><br><p>If you want to hear any of those full shows, then please check out <a href="www.iainleevault.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">www.iainleevault.com</a> - this is a really humbling and beautiful site put together by someone who is now a good friend of mine, Matty. In fact it's really only in the last few years I've fully appreciated the hard work and love that Matty has poured into this vast library of, well, my stuff. Thank you Matty. 7 - Christian Controversy - The Show That Almost Ended my Career
<p>3rd November 2015. Seemed to be a show like any other. In fact Katherine Boyle and I came out literally high fiving at how good it had been. Ultimately this show prompted an investigation by Tony Hall, the DG, and got me the sack. Two nervous breakdowns followed. It was awful at the time...but it actually helped my legend grow and I would do it almost exactly the same today, except for the bit I shouted. Sod it. I'd even do that. 6 - Steve Guttenberg
<p>I think this was 2008. Steve Guttenberg was over for pantomime and I found him just so delightful. We got on really well and ended up being friends. 5 - Leon Russell
<p>Sometimes I look back and think did I really meet them? Was I actually sat opposite Leon Russell for 15 minutes? Yes, yes I did. And it was glorious. I feel so blessed to have met so many of these wonderful people and Leon was a joy. I listened back and he's actually more talkative than I remember.
