Udo und die 1000 neuen Alben der Woche
<p>In der aktuellen Folge erzählen Lea und Stulle von der nervenaufreibenden Fahrt mit dem Leihbus „Udo“ nach München und von der Show mit PLUME im Backstage. Außerdem konnten sie es sich mal wieder nicht verkneifen problematische Männer aus der Szene, wie Jed Gordon (ehem. Parkway Drive Mercher) und Brady Ebert (ehem. Männlichkeits-Polizei im Metalcore
<p>Dass Gatekeeping in Subkulturen wie dem Metalcore eine große Rolle spielt und Bands, die ihren Sound ändern, nicht immer so gerne gesehen werden, ist keine neue Thematik. Das, was in der vergangenen Woche allerdings als Backlash auf das neue Musikvideo von Beartooth zum Song „Free" gefolgt ist, war dann aber doch nochmal ein Schlag ins Gesicht innerhalb einer Subkultur, in der man doch eigentlich mal Zuflucht gefunden hat, weil man dachte, hier eher so sein zu können, wie man ist. Anstatt die Kommentare einfach nur zu reproduzieren, versuchen Lea und Stulle in dieser Folge einzuordnen, warum Caleb Shomo da so einen Hass für ein eigentlich normales Outfit abbekommen hat und woher generell die Homophobie in Subgenres des Metals kommen könnte.</p><p><br></p><p>Warum beim FLINTA* Konzert von Team Scheiße in Köln Männer waren und was es mit dem X-Box Controller in der Brotdose auf sich hat, können die beiden auch nur erraten, aber: es wurden Theorien aufgestellt.</p><p><br></p><p>Außerdem wurde wie gewohnt über aktuelle Releases gequatscht, so zum Beispiel über das Nikra Album „Über beide Ohren", „Fingernagelmann" von CONNY und Liser und das grandiose Musikvideo von American Football zum Song „Bad Moons".</p>
