Hi, I’m Bea, a grassroots community advocate who, for most of my life, has gone rogue and spoken up for what matters the most.
Ichoco Locos is a community space centered around healing, education, mental health, wellness, and real conversations. Ichoco is slang from Guatemala for kids, so think “crazy kids,” bold, a little too loud, and not afraid to question things.
As an autistic woman who grew up in the hood and then the suburbs, As I found found my way through education and years of community work, this space comes from all my lived experience. Throughout my life, I’ve had to learn how to move through the world differently, speak up even when it’s uncomfortable, and build spaces that actually reflect the people in them.
This is where we talk about life how it really is. We learn, we unpack, we grow, and yeah, sometimes we’re just talking shit too.
If you’re here, you already know the vibe.
