Everyone can find your title. Nobody can find your brand. (EP#85)
Every week I get on a call with a CEO, a Director or a senior leader who tells me their work speaks for itself. I want to believe them. Then I look them up and there is nothing there. No banner filled in. No brand sentence. No sign of the fifteen, twenty, thirty years they have spent building a career that actually mattered.
Artificial intelligence is about to remove a layer of jobs at every level of every organisation, and the market is going to get tight. When it does, your track record will not speak for you. Your brand will.

Are You Struggling To Find Joy?
In this podcast Dr Clare Allen, shares about the importance of finding joy. Joy conjures up all these image, triumph, jubilation, happiness, bliss. It's that feeling of being genuinely content, filled up with appreciation for where you are and what you have.
And look, I've had people say to me, “What is happiness anyway, isn't it a bit fluffy?” I get it. But think about the opposite. We all know what it feels like to be sad, to feel overwhelmed, to feel stuck in a situation with no way out, and somehow, we accept that. We normalise it.
Joy and happiness are the exact opposite of that. Someone once described it to me as having a smile on the inside and the outside, at the same time. I love that. And here's the thing I really want you to hear today:
You deserve to feel joy. Full stop. Don't let anyone, including the voice in your own head, make you feel guilty for being happy.
