Season 3, Episode 6: Moving Forward When People Try To Hold You Back
In this episode, Destini and T. J. discuss their experiences of feeling drawn to new things and new experiences/places and how they have been met with people questioning their motives, abilities, and reasoning in an effort to help that is more often experienced as opposition that is meant to hold us back. They discuss how they have had to deal with people holding them back when they have felt called to move forward in different ways and what has worked or been helpful to them in those situations. Have you ever felt called to something that was only met by everyone around you with pessimism, defeatism, and negative opinions accompanied by what ”You should be doing” statements instead?
