Hi.

This is a 1 hour ocean sounds sound bath made for sleep, meditation, deep relaxation, stress relief, studying, journaling, or simply giving your mind somewhere quieter to go for a while.

There are no complicated instructions here.

No pressure to meditate perfectly.

No need to force your mind into silence.

Just the steady rhythm of the ocean moving in and out, over and over, without needing to arrive anywhere.

The waves can become a simple anchor for your attention. When your mind wanders, you can come back to one wave, then the next. You do not have to follow the whole ocean at once.

Use this while falling asleep, resting, breathing, working, praying, or taking a break from the part of your brain that insists everything must be solved immediately.

If you are tired, that is reason enough.

If you are anxious, let the repetition give your nervous system something steady to rest against.

If you are meditating, let the water become the object of attention.

And if you just want ocean sounds in the background while you exist for an hour, that works too.

Best with headphones or a speaker at a low, comfortable volume.

For more sound baths, meditations, rain audio, ocean sounds, and strange spiritual thoughts:

Website: https://www.idiotmystic.com
Discord: https://discord.gg/dXKjhZrZmM
Instagram: @idiotmystic
TikTok: @idiotmystic
YouTube: Idiot Mystic

Follow Idiot Mystic for more calming audio and weird little places to rest.

A group of teenagers somehow turned the Idiot Mystic Spotify comments into their own high school group chat, and for a while I had absolutely no idea what I was looking at.

It started with a few people saying hello. Then more names appeared. People were checking on each other, asking everyone to look at the βPL,β announcing what state they lived in, discussing volleyball, Walmart, relationships, secret accounts, and one extremely confusing cheating scandal.

At first, I thought they might be bots.

Then the conversations became far too specific, emotional, and painfully human.

This episode is mostly my live reaction to watching the whole thing unfold while trying to understand teenage internet language in real time. I attempt to decode terms like PL and IFB, become increasingly concerned about everyone sharing their locations, accidentally get pulled into relationship drama, and eventually accept that my podcast comment section is no longer mine.

Please excuse the rougher audio. This was recorded during a livestream while I was hunched over my desk in what can only be described as a Gollum-gremlin-goblin position.

Underneath all the confusion, there were some genuinely kind moments. Young people checking on friends, offering support while dealing with their own problems, and trying to be there for each other in the middle of all the gossip and chaos.

Spirituality does not always happen on a meditation cushion or inside a temple.

Sometimes it happens in a Spotify comment section while you are desperately trying to figure out what βcheck the PLβ means.

Please do not attempt to identify, contact, or harass anyone mentioned in this episode. They are young people being young people, and I sincerely wish all of them well.

Idiot Mystic

Website: https://idiotmystic.com
Blog: https://idiotmystic.com/blog
Discord: https://discord.gg/dXKjhZrZmM
Instagram: https://instagram.com/idiotmystic
TikTok: https://tiktok.com/@idiotmystic

Chronic pain has become an unwilling part of the Idiot Mystic production team.In this episode, I talk about living with nerve pain down one side of my body after two laminectomies, along with constant rib pain, headaches, stomach problems when my discs become irritated, and the strange ways all of it affects my energy, mood, voice, posture, and ability to work.I also explain one of the more unusual issues I have dealt with since surgery. When I sit or stand upright, my sternum sometimes contracts a few extra times beyond the actual breath, almost like my chest is stuttering. It makes speaking upright feel uncomfortable and can change the way I sound while recording. There is also the ongoing saga of finally ordering a comfortable chair and waiting for it to arrive like it is a sacred medical artifact. After years of trying to push through pain, I am slowly accepting that proper support, shorter working sessions, and adapting the setup are part of the creative process. This episode is about the invisible planning that goes into living and working with chronic pain, the grief of having to negotiate with your own body, and the ridiculous humor of becoming emotionally invested in lumbar support.Pain may influence the schedule, the chair, the breathing, and the length of the recording, but it does not get final cut.Idiot MysticDiscord: https://discord.gg/dXKjhZrZmMInstagram: @idiotmysticTikTok: @idiotmystic
