Let’s be honest, we’re all just out here winging it and doing the best we can to live this thing called life. The older I get the more uncomfortable I am with pretending I have it altogether. I don’t and I’m ok with that. I lean on God and my squad to help navigate life nuances (heavy on the GOD) and have learned to ask questions when I simply don’t know. If you’re down, let’s explore, learn and grow through this thing called life together (heavy on the TOGETHER). Enjoy the podcast ;).
While accountability sounds like a great idea in theory, the ball will always be in our court to do the work. No one can move us beyond where we're willing to go. In this episode, I talk about the reality check my good friend Destynee gave me a few years ago when I asked her to be my accountability partner & how my husband REFUSES to take part in my "accountability" antics. #HeNeverTakesMeSeriously Lol.

My Bad Y'all | Ep. 5
It's been a minute, so let's not pretend I ain't been ghost for a whole year. I have no real excuse, insecurities, second guessing & inconsistency were the continued culprits of my hideout, but we're going to push through it and try this again -- I hope you'll still have me. If so, welcome back! Let's figure it out together.

Crew Conversation: Christen O'Neal | Ep. 4
On this episode of IDK: Let's Figure it Out, we kick off Crew Conversations, where Proverbs connect with friends to discuss previous podcast episodes and dig into life with those around her. This week she connects with Christen O'Neal, an author, thought leader and owner of clothing apparel & movement, Grace Galore. They discuss this year's election, the journey of them becoming friends, and how their accountability pact is helping them overcome their own struggle with perfectionism and inconsistency.

This Election Got Us Trippin' | Ep. 3
In this episode I discuss the mocking, the political division and challenge whether these faith filled views about voting in this election are even valid. I believe it's important to choose love over politics — especially in this climate, but y’all know I’m too bold to be quiet right? With ALL of the things I have to say about what's going on, I'm trying my best to walk in wisdom and choose love -- even if it means deactivating Facebook for the sake of peace. But you know me, I gotta talk about it and I do it all on this here episode.

Why It Gotta Be So Perfect? | Ep. 2
IDK about you, but I have a HUGE problem with inconsistency and perfectionism. For me, they’re basically twins — with one comes the other and frankly, I’m sikka both of ‘em. They’ve caused so many of my dreams and ideas to die before they even get started. Do you struggle with perfectionism? How do you overcome it? Leave me a message at anchor.fm/idkletsfigureitout & let’s talk about it! We’ll play it on the next podcast.

IDK How to Feel About the Breonna Taylor Verdict | Bonus
After trying my best to process everything I was feeling about the Breonna Taylor verdict, being a black woman and the responses (or lack thereof), I honestly just woke up and pressed play. This episode is full of raw emotions about the heartbreaking reality of being black in America and my frustration with believers who either don't get it or ignore the need for justice in this country altogether. I don't know how to feel right now, but maybe we can figure out how to process this together.
