Niels, man van vele pleinen
Mensen een plek geven, dat is wat Niels graag doet. In zijn thuisstad Brussel loopt het als een rode draad door zijn leven. Een leven waarin hij systematisch gekozen heeft om niet te kiezen. Niet voor een afgebakende studierichting, niet voor een vaste werknemer. Maar wel voor visie. En die zag hij in vervulling gaan, maar om dat te bereiken vergat hij onderweg om voor zichzelf te zorgen. Nu is er een nieuwe balans, maar de visie, die blijft. Dit is een Iemand van Margot Otten.

Gaetane, vrouw met hoerenchance
Gaetane is 55 en zit te wachten op haar derde (!) harttransplantatie. En ze heeft ook een nieuwe nier nodig. Toch vindt ze dat ze hoerenchance heeft gehad. Want omdat ze dacht dat ze niet oud zou worden, heeft ze altijd haar zin kunnen doen, en geleefd alsof het haar laatste dag was. Ze was fotomodel, speelde in muziekclips, showde lingerie, en deed stand-up comedy, maar zat ook in de criminaliteit en werd seksueel misbruikt. Dat ze nog leeft, is niets minder dan een mirakel.
