   Have Hope..or Grind Trying

Lets be honest.. always having and keeping the hope and faith isn’t easy. Waking up each day and being resilient, staying positive in the face of numerous setbacks, and frustrations is and can very well be hard, it can be draining. How much more resilient do we need to be? How much longer do we keep trying, doing, going at what we want while everything around us dares to keep us at bay. Staying strong isn’t easy, it’s often hard trying not to give up or give in, and that’s where hope and faith come in. So how do we balance the burnout and fatigue we’re facing? With rest. Allowing ourselves to relax, stop being so hard on our self, and just taking a break. Because having hope is admirable when you recognize how long you have been keeping the faith, despite what you are getting. So relax, let go, and listen in as we go over the necessary steps we need to acknowledge on our road to whatever we are working on , all while being honest and admitting…that sometimes we do need to take a different approach to being able to keep the faith and hope alive. You got this. We got this.

   Do You

In a world full of people telling you who you should be and what you should do. DO YOU. What is doing you? For starters, doing you is different for everyone; with some of us, sharing similar qualities, traits, interest and more. Yet doing you, is about letting go of the need to fit in whatever proverbial box people want you to be in so that they can feel comfortable; because no one likes uncertainty and discomfort for the most part that is. This episode is about challenging your own beliefs about who you may think and/or feel you need to be and giving your self permission to be free from the constraints and restraints put on you by life. So lets stop letting life place limitations on us, and push full steam ahead with going after yours ( as long as its not hurting anyone , you know). So dare to do it, and I hope this episode can no only inspire you yet offer you support and encouragement to do that thing. Whether it's getting a new job, learning how to cook, playing an instrument, creating music, playing a sport, sewing or what have you. If that thing is a business? allow your self to be coachable and ready to learn, apply and grow. Everything wont be easy, but at least at the end of the day when its all said and done? you can say Im glad that I decided to do me, and be proud. Because that is something worth celebrating; and hey you never know maybe you shock not just your self but the world. So do it. Create that art, create the podcast, make the music, study to be a doctor, a nurse, a skilled swimmer, an entrepreneur, dare to shatter the limiting expectations others may have of you and as Nike would say: “JUST DO IT!”

Creating A Legacy: Talking Life Insurance & Policies W/ Guest Daryl Dasent of North Western Mutual

In this episode we’re switching gears .We have a guest. And not just any guest we have Daryl Dasent a Licensed Financial Advisor for Northwestern Mutual. And Daryl? He’s talking life insurance, the importance of it, what it is, the different kinds, what North Western Mutual has to offer, what he …as in Daryl, can do for you. We’re talking taking the leap of faith and chasing your dreams, and more. In this episode we have an organic , and transparent conversation centered around the “difficult”conversations yet the important conversation; being prepared and having your affairs in order. Daryl talks how to go about doing so, and doing so by being informed and equipped with the necessary resources, and tools to set a legacy , and be proactive in doing so. This episode touches on subjects we may dance around, ignore, and very well may feel uncomfortable with. Yet there’s comfort in discomfort . And in this episode? I believe Daryl does a great job in articulating the benefits. It wouldn’t be the Off Candor Show without the candor. So Listen in as information and experiences that I believe fit with the topic of discussion are shared and touched upon; along with Daryl sharing information on his process of getting started and switching careers to the field he is in. Tap in. Check us out. Be sure to connect and contact Daryl Dasent at Daryl.Dasent@nm.com To find out more and get a policy or two or three. And make sure your policies if you already have them, are up to date and active . Be on the look out for additional information on how to access the video from our session in the future. As well as website, social media info, and more. Last but not least: A Special shout out to: Rodnae Productions from Pexels for this episodes cover Art. Thank you and enjoy .

Editors Note: A prelude to Episode 4. Creating A Legacy: Life Insurance & Policies W/ Daryl Dasent

Listen in as I give an impromptu editors take and account ahead of Episode 4 aptly titled: “Creating A Legacy : Talking Life Insurance and Policies W/ Guest Daryl Dasent of North Western Mutual” I wouldn’t say this Editors Note is a prerequisite requirement to listening to Episode 4, but I would like to say that it would be dope ( and perhaps helpful) if you listened in at some point to this, for me? preferably before the episode listed. To me? Its a systematic and synchronous flow So without further ado …Let’s Do it!

Trees From The Forrest? : Being Grateful In The Midst Of A Storm.

This episode is about focusing on the things that are important in a more free and relaxing way; about letting go and doing our best to not allow ourselves to get overwhelmed. Its about finding a way of peace and being peace, even when situations, circumstances, events, and life is determined to make us feel very much so aggravated, or overwhelmed. This episode is about the silver lining . Things can get real in and around us and and ish is real, but let’s allow ourselves to no longer see all the reasons why something can’t or won’t , or hasn’t worked. Nor give attention in an adverse way to how everything can or may be out of sync and whacky; even if it unfortunately is for the moment. This episode ? Is not only about giving ourselves permission to relax , let go, have faith. Yet breathing through, seeing ourself through, allowing ourselves to be perfectly imperfect on our way to letting our selves be better . To see and have better in a healthy and productive way . Now woossaahh and let’s do it.

    Don’t Be Distracted

With so many things going on in the world , its easy to not only not know what it is we need to be doing, or working on, or what we even need to be doing ? Theres so many things looking to distract us. Whether phone calls, video games, television, news , friends and family, social media and the likes you name it. Its important to disconnect and unplug at times, give ourselves time to relax, and release. Sometimes? we could use a distraction or two” to get our minds and hearts off of things we have been fixated on and need a break from. Not all distractions are bad, most of them are though when looking to obtain a goal, complete a mission, and or fill in the blank. This episode is about being distracted when we have a purpose , and or plan and staying focused. I also want you to have balance, freedom and relaxation. Guard your heart and know when and when not to allow things to deter you. To guard you’re heart, yet also also your heart to be open and and available. To people , places, experiences and things that will help you grow, learn, heal and progress forward. Remember to use your best judgment, and discernment. To be honest. And to Let Go and Let God. And remember communication and comprehension goes a long way. Communicate and set boundaries . Be blessed! Stay Safe!
