Episode 7 - Male Strippers, Dildo Frenzy, Menopause, Forgiveness Letters & Everything in between
We are thrilled & honoured to present to you our interview with local kick-ass woman and Kate's "fan girl" crush - Traci Bateman.
Traci is the owner of the Award Winning Bliss Yoga Spa, has recently begun transforming lives with her health & life coaching AND is basically a PRO-Golfer. Is there anything this woman can't do?
Recorded pre-Thanksgiving, we take you through a truly inspiring discussion & therapy session with Traci.
Traci opens up about her healing journey after losing her mom at a young age and provides Cassie with some much needed advice.
You are going to want to stick around for this one....because this first session with Traci is FREE. ;)
A BIT ABOUT TRACI...
Traci knew what she wanted to contribute from a young age after losing her mother to breast cancer at 14 years old; a lifelong journey of wellness.
Wellness came in many forms. Pursuing a desire for education she graduated from the University of Calgary with a degree in Economics in 1988. She returned to her studies two decades later to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for Interior Architecture and Design. In 2021 Traci enrolled in the Health Coach Institute’s program for Health and Life Coaching as well as Joel Brown's Influential Coach Program and Advanced Coaching Certificate. She knew this was her calling - using her experiences and wisdom to help others achieve their best selves.
Traci’s childhood loss lit a lifelong fire within her of how not to die. Live life. Live it fully. Live for yourself and live for others. Love influenced Traci’s every action, from winning nine club championships on the links, to laying down roots in a new city to be with the love of her life Mike, her two step sons, and two golden doodles, while keeping close contact with her family.
A life well lived, is a life of change. Traci has rebranded herself professionally multiple times. She’s owned businesses from golf accessories, marketing, interior design, and opened Bliss YogaSpa in 2012; an ambitious resort style spa that melds wellness with beauty. Her current role as a Health and Life coach allows Traci to share her passion and give the support to others that she missed out on in her life. Growing up without a mother shaped every facet of her existence and forced her to learn about life through trial and error.
Traci is continually in pursuit of healing, for the mind, body and soul. With her extensive business background, life experiences and her acute ability to listen, Traci has an extraordinary capacity to help and heal. She truly believes in what she has put into the world and knows that she is here to hold space for those in need.

Episode 6 - Shooting the Shit - Literally.
Kate & Cassie catch up. This episode was originally intended to cover hot topics and fresh goss but turned into Kate fully revealing more than one embarrassing poop & bum bum stories. Too much? Probably...but Kate has no filter and Cassie doesn't do anything to stop her.
Cassie also talks about her experience about being in London when "Lizzie" passes, working for the "man" and her most recent farting overnight guest.
Scatological Much?

Camp Fire Games - Names for Dicks. BONUS mini Episode # 1 *EXPLICIT* *EXPLICIT*
As the summer holidays have approached us and we work towards coordinating schedules for our next guests we thought we would release the highly requested and much anticipated camp fire confessional games mini BONUS Episodes.
In the 1st of 3 installments our first episode takes you through names for WANGS A-Z. The perfect game to bring to your next family camp fire gathering. Of course we are kidding...unless you don't have appropriate boundaries like us!
*A WARNING - this may be highly offensive to some individuals. We are not gonna lie, drinks were consumed prior & during this game*
We dare you to try and NOT shout out your own names as we take you through the alphabet. We really got stuck with Z.
Don't worry though, we give equal opportunity to both genital areas. Our next BONUS episode we will cover names for Vaginas!
We guarantee some belly laughs (I mean we did), some gasps of disgust (we were disgusted with ourselves at times) and possibly some "oh yeah - I've used that before".
Enjoy!

Father's Day Special - "Everybody out of the pool". An awkward conversation with a very special guest.
It's Father Day week and we are closing out our family loop with this special release (better quality audio).
We welcome the illusive Bob - Cassie & Alex's father, a man of very few words (try to interview someone that literally has nothing to say). The dad jokes will be "flowing" and the poop & puke stories are plentiful. Truthfully, it does get a bit awkward and emotional at times but hey...what family occasion doesn't?
Kate does her best to facilitate the flow of this family conversation and we do hear some good insights into this dynamic.
All Dad's will find this one relatable!
Including;
The "old-school" reason why Alex is named Alex - things have changed a lot in 27 years. Thank God!
💩 That time Cassie cleared out a public pool.
Tattoo's & Piercings? Not in our house...🏡
💗 Bob is his own way...expresses how he feels. :)
This episode is sponsored by BOSTON PIZZA (https://bostonpizza.com/en/promotions/alberta-daily-specials.html) ICE DISTRICT (10111 104 Ave NW Unit 120, Edmonton). Head on down to BP's to watch sports on the video wall, carb load on Pasta Tuesdays, Slurp some Sangria's on Thursday's (Kate's fav), drink some fish bowls on Friday (Cassie's fav) or nurse that hangover on Sundays with $2 off Caesar special.

The Story of Us: PART 1 - Cake is best served over difficult conversations.
Coming to you "live" from Cassie's old bedroom (Kate's now office). We were supposed to have recorded in a studio but not everything is perfect... Have to start somewhere right? Try to schedule two "busy", frequently hungover 20 somethings on a weekend morning into a studio. I dare you! Bare with us, we may get our shit together by the 10th episode. At least the content is juicy!
In our first episode we welcome ALEX, the "golden child", Kate's other daughter and Cassie's best friend. In this part 1 of our 3 part series we will take you through an emotional and awkward discussion of our relationship and family dynamics. We have covered everything from Cassie & Alex losing their mom at a very young age, Alex scaring the shit out of Kate and Kate figuring out how to be a step-mom (and not the evil kind). "F**K U Disney"...that really should have been the episode title. :)
We even reveal some touching moments that we have never talked about before...who knew it would take a podcast to bring that out?
Are you a mom, a step-mom, a MIL, a daughter, sister or have any type of relationship that is normal, awkward or otherwise? These next 3 episodes are for you!
