Explaining the Commercial Property Assess Clean Energy Program, or C-PACE
<p>Calling all Roanoke business owners, nonprofits, and developers – there's a new clean energy financing tool that can help you save money while being kind to the environment. </p><p>Roanoke’s Sustainability Outreach Coordinator Leigh Anne Weitzenfeld and Economic Development Director Marc Nelson join If You Noke You Know to talk all about the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program (C-PACE), which provides upfront capital to businesses for upgrading their buildings with energy-efficient, renewable energy, and resiliency systems. </p><p>Roanoke is the 22nd locality in Virginia to join the program, which is operated by the Virginia C-PACE Authority. </p><p>As they explain in this episode, the funding is versatile enough to help with projects both big and small. </p><p></p>
