One of Those ‘Sodes: A Crown Meditation for My Mommy; You Deserve to Thrive
I rose around 5AM. I’m practicing rising and not grabbing the phone. I’m practicing recalling my dreams as soon as I rise. Today I checked in on my mother who is not feeling so great. I immediately made my tea and began to record this intentional meditation for my mom. We have to stay on those we love. We have to be there for them in the ways that we can. I’ve been practicing praying multiple times a day and I have many modes of prayer. Here is one. It’s more of a breath meditation. Receive this beautiful cleansing energy. If you’re experiencing sickness, worry, anxiety, fear, etc. listen to this. Share it with a loved one. “Our lives are not ours alone and we must remember the importance of the interconnectedness that maintains this balance.”

Purpose in Pain?? Naaaa Purpose in Emotion!!
Quote: “Once you taste the joy of living in beauty and love, you no longer find anything captivating about suffering.”
This episode highlights misconceptions and beliefs about pain and suffering always being part of the path to success, as if it’s the only way we will win. I’ve seen the labels and sayings and testimonies that “boast” about the strength and resilience acquired from pain. We have tricked our minds into expecting success will blossom from massive change if we go through something first. That will not be my story. And that’s not today’s message.
Sankofa Bluu or ïlluMimamiii talks about: Love languages and how they change; the importance and practice of listening, reflecting, and experiencing the emotion within the pain to uncover the truth of our body and spirit.
It is “With humility, an open heart and mind, we embrace the sacred study of yoga.” If we understand in our heart that “yoga is the uniting of consciousness (knowing and embodying your divinity ) in the heart,” then we have the ability to heal and move through our pain with more ease and forgiveness. Some tips were shared in uncovering hard truths and alchemizing our pains into power and recognizing that our success literally doesn’t and does not have to stem from our pain stories but rather from our strength gained in listening, reflecting and experiencing everything on our path.

#5 Pray Before You Eat? : Grace & Gratitude
This episode is about Ayurvedic eating practices that holistically connect you to the energy of your food, practicing gratitude, grace and connection to LIFE. I share personal experiences and stories that led me from saying a rehearsed grace to no grace at all to a energetic transfer from my body and mind to my food and back. It’s a beautiful experience. Can you connect to what you consume on a deeper level?
Affirmations: I release any and everything that no longer serves my highest good. I Welcome all things that nourish my mind, body and spirit.
Graces Recited: I allow this meal to be nourishing to my body, mind and spirit. Healing to my existence. Supportive of my purpose. I receive this medicine and allow it to heal me and transform my entire being. Gifting me joy, bliss and peace to radiate and share joy, bliss and peace.
I receive the love in this food from the hands who prepared to the ones who picked it and dispel anything less than. Let this food be nourishing to my body. Fulfilling to my soul beneficial to my mind and spirit. I allow my body to release and remove anything that is not for me and soak up what is.
I allow this meal to cellular repair and boost cellular growth. I am grateful.
