Welcome to Illuminating Truth Podcast, the show where we shed light on God's word and apply it to everyday life. With so many versions of truth out there, why not learn more about "The Truth" which is God's word. It is our hope that you come hungry, and leave satisfied as I share the word God places on my heart to share with his people and feast on God's word together. Let's Illuminate Truth!
On what started off as a typical day, Saul found himself searching for lost donkeys and ended up face to face with his purpose. It's all good when we get a glimpse of what God has purposed us for. However, what happens when we leave the "pink cloud" of discovering our purpose and go back to what we've always known? Thankfully, God sees more in us than we see in ourselves. He will pull us out of the baggage and get us right back on track. All we need to do is have faith and not go back home.

The God Who Sees
Hagar found herself between a rock and a hard place. In their disobedience, Sarai and Abram mishandled her and now she's fleeing for her own mental sanity from a toxic couple situation and work environment. Maybe she should run away and go back home. Or perhaps having a conversation with the "God who sees" is a better idea.

Lessons from Deborah, Barak and Jael
Let's do a deep dive into scripture surrounding Judges chapter 5. Deborah coined herself as a mother in Israel, Barak wouldn't go to war without her and Jael risked it all to be on the Lord's side. What lessons can we apply to our own lives from Deborah, Barak and Jael?
