Hal ini dilakukan karena diketahui bahwa indonesia selalu menempati posisi tertinggi di dunia. Sebagai bentuk keikutsertaan memperingati hari tersebut, Departemen Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) ILMAGI mempersembahkan ILMAGI on Podcast (IoPod) dengan tema "Hari Diabetes Nasional: Anak Kos Anti Diabetes!" melalui spotify.
