EP 4.5 - Fungus, The Ultimate Wingman w/ Gianluca (Unreleased)

Okay besties, buckle up because this episode is a trip—literally. This is an unreleased older episode we recorded and edited a while back (May 2025), but we’re finally ready to release it! Jami and Alexis are back with part 2, and they’ve brought on mushroom king Gianluca to go full fungi mode. Alexis kicks things off with a lil Kentucky Derby recap (mint juleps were had), and Jami introduces us to the world of… dental daddies? Yep, it spirals from there into a full-blown daddy taxonomy. Then, things get deep. Jami’s suddenly a Jeopardy girl but ONLY if Colin Jost is hosting (Jeopardy Daddy, obviously), and we dive into the science and soul of psilocybin. Jami nerds out on neuroscience, Alexis shares her trauma-fueled mushroom saga (spoiler: she’s DONE), and Jami reveals that post-trip, she’s now spiritually bonded to the color blue. Laughs? Yes. Brain science? Weirdly, also yes. Trauma bonding over mushroom trips? You already know. It’s old but gold—let’s get into it. 🍄💙 Intro Music - IG @cityofbrooklynFollow Us on IG - @imboredwhatsnext

Ep 5 - Duck Dongs and Sorry We Ghosted You

Hi. Hello. We know. It’s been a minute (okay… since May 2025 😬). In this very necessary catch-up episode, we (Alexis and Jami) explain where the heck we’ve been and what’s next for I’m Bored, What’s Next? We experiment with outdoor recording vibes—so yes, this leads to a tangent on ducks, obviously, and getting caught by passersby during precarious conversations. Whoops. Things then take a spooky turn when Alexis casually traumatizes Jami with her very real, very unsettling ghost-scratchy story. We can all thank her for the nightmares. If you missed us, we missed you. If you didn’t… sorry we ghosted you 👻 Fact Check 🦆 ✔️ Duck penises are alarmingly long ✔️ Most average 7–10 inches ✔️ The record holder (the Argentine lake duck) clocks in at 16.7 inches ✔️ We regret knowing this—and now you do too. You’re welcome. IG: @Imboredwhatsnext Intro Producing Genius: @cityofbrooklyn

Ep 4 - Gamers are People Too w/ Gianluca & Zack

Welcome to the first of two fungus-fueled episodes—Alexis is still riding the philanthropic rollercoaster of her personal 9 Year and decides to save the world one unexpected donation at a time. Meanwhile, Jami questions the act of tasting a name after stumbling upon an unfortunate literary event. Then it’s time to get spore-y. The girls dive headfirst into the fungus among us—turns out mushrooms might actually run the world, and honestly? Respect. They unpack the wild science, question their own symbiotic entanglements, and then welcome not one but two gamer guests—Gianluca and Zack—to break down The Last of Us and reveal how gaming might be the new therapy. Spoiler: these guys are low-key geniuses. So if you like science and hot takes on fungal supremacy, this episode’s your weird little soulmate. 🍄🧠✨Fact Check: There are actually 6 biological kingdoms: Plantae, Animalia, Fungi, Protista, Eubacteria, Archaebacteria—I’m sure those last three are stowed deep in our brain somewhere from high school… Fungi = lots of fungus. Fungus = just one. Hubris = excessive pride or self-confidence…didn’t know this was a vocabulary lesson, Zack.Shoutout to our Intro Genius! - IG: @cityofbrooklyn

Ep 3 - Dilly Efron is in and YOU ARE MATH.

In this episode, we’re kicking things off with an update on Alexis’ colonoscopy – because why wouldn’t we talk about that? Then we dive into Traitors, the reality TV show that has us all questioning our trust issues. But don’t worry, we also get into the important stuff – like why Dylan Efron is officially our new favorite Efron, and Zac Efron is, well, still hot but kind of irrelevant now (but we still love you, Zac, promise 😘). We also explore the deepest topics imaginable, like birth, spirituality, and intuition – and yes, Alexis will be your Granddaddy in YO next life (don’t ask, just accept it). Plus, we get nerdy with Pythagorean numerology (don’t worry, we hate math too, but trust Galileo and Pythagoras on this one) and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue has us questioning everything about our names. Spoiler alert: saying your own name in the mirror is weird, but try it – you'll thank us later. Oh, and if you’re stuck in an insurance nightmare, Alexis has a little hack to help you save some cash. Because honestly, those companies are out to get us. So, if you're bored and need something to distract you from life, pop in your headphones and let’s do this thangorangggg. Warning: May cause spontaneous laughter, existential confusion, and the urge to Google numerology. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. 😈 FACT CHECK: The co-host of "Down to Earth with Zac Efron" is Darin Olien, a wellness expert, author, and producer known for his work in sustainable living and healthy practices. Ep 2 - Anal Invasions and Intergalactic Concerts

Alexis is officially off the market, and we’re breaking down every detail of her engagement—because what’s the point of saying “yes” if you can’t talk about it for hours on end? Jami shares her own proposal story, and spoiler: she finally admits she’s a full-blown Swiftie. We discuss how Taylor Swift concerts are no longer just musical events but intergalactic phenomena capable of causing actual earthquakes (Swifties are literally shaking the world). Then, we relive the chaos of throwing a book release party for Onyx Storm, where we may or may not have emotionally (and physically) exhausted our friends in the name of literature. And just when you think this episode can’t get any more unhinged, Alexis preps for her colonoscopy—because nothing says “romance and pop culture” like a deep dive into bowel prep. Tune in for love, Swiftquakes, party trauma, and medical oversharing. You’re welcome.TRIGGER WARNINGS:This episode includes discussions of difficult topics, including violence and sexual assault. Please take care while listening. Also, potty talk. FACT CHECKS:- The Ring of Fire is a volcanic and earthquake-prone region around the Pacific Ocean, formed by tectonic plate boundaries. It's home to 75% of the world's active volcanoes and experiences frequent seismic activity. Bitches.- Rebecca Yarros did not write the Empyrean Series with AI... we think.

Ep 1 - Bisexual Hip Thrusts and Tom Cruise is a Vampire

Tune into the first episode of "I'm Bored. What's Next?" where Alexis tries to convince Jami that aliens are watching us. The girls sate their need to talk unabashedly about all things Wicked. Jami proves she knows absolutely nothing about Tom Cruise. Each shares a story of her true chaos demon nature. And let it be known...vampires are talking on TikTok.
