I'm Back
I'm back. I know that I was gone for a while. I felt a lot of (self-inflicted) pressure that was giving me weird feelings. I felt like I was recording just for the sake of putting content out. It's so important to take a break and have a little reset. During the process, I decided to do a dry 90. Where I would abstain from alcohol (also do cold showers) for a period of 90 days. I haven't really been going out or doing anything. I've been by myself mostly because my interactions with people were surrounded around alcohol. Also, I've made the choice to really experience solitude. Sometimes I would sit in silence because only then could I be alone with my thoughts. No distractions, No TV, No social media. It was tough in the beginning because I felt so alone. I share this to one let you know that you are not alone, and also to reaffirm that I'm not alone. But I'm back and moving forward. Peace and love my peeps

Episode 4: My first trip...
This was my first ayahuasca trip. It was an amazing, beautiful, terrifying, liberating experience. There were so many things that came up for me during the 3-day journey. I talk about my reservations, what came up, and all my experiences during my trip. I can't truly express in words everything that I encountered but I did pack as much as I could in the 45 min. If you have ever thought about or have done plant medicine I would love to hear about it. Shoot me a message on IG: @yourhypemanlan or leave a comment here so we can chat. Peace and Love ✌🏾💛.

Routines, Routines, Routines
Why routines are important for daily momentum? "I've always understood routines as simple as making your routine and you're able to check things off your list".
I talk about how your routine has evolved over the years: my first routine was to wake up, meditate, work out, journal, time-block, and then start my day. Routine now: wake up, meditate, walk my dog, listen to a podcast, gratitude journal, shower end the shower with 2-3 cold water, brush teeth with a non-dominate hand, time-block, and then start my day.
How I help clients create routines: describe how you help your clients find their routines. Asks client what time they want to start their day, ask what is important to them to do during their day, time-blocking is important for their day, and then I encourage them to incorporate meditation. Go into people saying they don't know how to meditate.

Lets Get Deep
I talk about all things vulnerability. I share a personal experience where I was vulnerable and how it shaped my life's next few years (probably the next few decades). Vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness. Just like any muscle, it takes practice to get stronger; with time, you will get there. We all have to start somewhere, why not now. Find someone who you can trust, a family member or a loved one. If you don't have one of those reach out to me. It's so important to begin this process. I hope this story resonates and lets you know that it's possible for you too. Peace and Love, Your Hypeman Lan ✌🏾❤️!!
