Refined To Be Used
In this episode of I’m Just a Girl, we talk about what it means to become a vessel God can truly use.
Before God uses you publicly, He often forms you privately and sometimes that formation looks like fire. Refinement is uncomfortable, stretching, and deeply humbling, but it is not punishment. It is preparation for carrying glory.
This conversation unpacks the painful but necessary process of surrendering control, walking through heartbreak, loss, uncertainty, and realising that no plan we create for ourselves could ever surpass what God has already prepared for us.
Sometimes we think we need a complicated solution to our struggles, when all God has been asking for is surrender. To cry out to Him. To sit at His feet. To listen.
This episode is for anyone currently “in the fire” — the ones in seasons of quiet transformation, pruning, stretching, and becoming. Because even in the refining, God is present. And every process has purpose.
