Hi, my name is Kelsy Leanne and I am your host, and this is 'I'm Not Regular.' This podcast allows athletes to find their God-given purpose beyond the game and for any Christian who is trying to navigate that faith-walk.
Hey Fam! I’m back and beyond excited to share how God has been moving in my life lately. Taking risks and walking by faith can be daunting, but I’ve learned that fear is not our future—faith is. You never know where life will lead you, who you’ll meet, or what experiences await. But one thing I know for sure: God has a plan for it all. Enjoy EP 12.

Episode 11: Who's Your Center?
Happy March Madness! As a basketball fan, I may be biased, but I believe every team needs a strong, reliable center—someone who dominates the paint, grabs rebounds, scores, sets solid screens, blocks shots, and communicates with the team. Similarly, God is the center of our lives. He has the ability to do all these things for us if we make room for Him in everything we do. He’s not necessarily asking to be the first priority in every season; He’s asking to be at the center of it all.

Tune in to discover how His leadership, vision, and unwavering support make Him the best coach we could ever have!

Episode 9: Walk In Your NOW!
In this episode, we'll explore the importance of stepping into your future because your future begins now. The choices you make today shape the person you will become. You must embody the person you wish to be before you actually become that person. Just as David had to defeat a lion and a bear before conquering Goliath, God places obstacles along our journey to prepare us for the victories ahead. WALK IN YOUR NOW!

Episode 8: "What Would Jesus Do?"
In this episode, I’m challenging the 'I'm Not Regular Podcast' family to cultivate a deeper sense of gratitude for life, the gift of another day, and the small blessings we often overlook. I’m also encouraging all athletes to reflect on the question, 'What would Jesus do?' as they step onto their playing field. Finally, I challenge all of us to be slow to speak and quick to listen, allowing space for God to guide us with His wisdom and shape our responses. Tune in and let’s grow together in t...

Episode 7: "I'm Not Looking Back"
In this episode, we explore the story of Lot’s wife and how her disobedience—holding on to her sinful past—transformed her into a pillar of salt. When God delivers us from a season of struggle or sin, it’s easy to long for the comfort, familiarity, and fleeting pleasures of our old ways. However, true transformation requires us to embrace our new identity in Christ. This means letting go of the past, seeking God through prayer, spending time with Him, and learning to forgive ourselves.

Episode 6: A Focus Faith
In this episode, we’ll dive into the power of having a focused faith, drawing from the story of Jesus walking on water. When Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, he was able to walk on water too. But the moment he let his focus shift to the storm around him, he began to sink. This teaches us an important lesson: when we focus on our problems and the chaos in our lives, it’s easy to become overwhelmed and they start to consume us. But when we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, He empowers us to rise above...

Episode 5: Rest Is Not A Reward
In this episode, we’ll dive into the significance of rest and why it shouldn't be treated as a reward, but rather as something essential in our daily and weekly routines.Often, we can get caught up in the hustle and grind mentality, thinking we have to work nonstop to be successful. But in reality, taking time to recharge—whether physically, mentally, or spiritually—actually helps us show up stronger in all areas of life. As Pops says, "If we are constantly running on fumes, we prevent...

Episode 4: Are You Being Wrongfully Influenced?
In this episode, we dive into the book of Genesis, exploring the theme of humanity's fallenness and how it affects the choices we make. As men, we're constantly navigating the influences around us—whether from culture, peers, or even our own desires. But how do we discern whether these influences are leading us closer to God or further away? The quickest way to gauge this is by examining the fruit of your decisions. Are your choices drawing you nearer to God, to His Word, to His truth? Or are...

Episode 3: How To Become 1% Better
In this episode, I’ll share a simple, three-step guideline for how you can become 1% better every day. We’ll dive into the story of Nehemiah and his mission to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Despite facing distractions and opposition from his enemies, Nehemiah stayed focused on his ‘Great Work’—that was given to him by God. His story is a powerful reminder that small, consistent improvements, no matter how small, can bring us closer to our goals—and keep us grounded in our purpose. Join me a...
