[…] And so I'm just kind of like a follow up on that is, you know, some of the ways that that dysfunction begins quietly before anyone recognizes that something's actually going wrong. Like, is it a matter of people leaving things out because they're afraid that there might be negative consequences of being the messenger that's burying the bad news, or is it something else? I think by design, I think the good intentions are prioritizing urgency. and so if it's not urgent it doesn't make the cut and if it's not a high priority it doesn't make a cut and there probably is room for like the the message deliverer i'm nervous to share this news so i'm less likely to prioritize it um whether that's conscious or not that probably impacts that urgency and prioritization that is communicated up It is also the case that we often ask for reports or report outs and then trickle that information through our own to-do lists.
