Why You Should Start Your Own Brand
Everyday people build up strong brands on social media and receive zero reward. I know the feeling too well I built an entire brand from the ground up from an audience of zero to an entire university. The different in owning a brand is monetization and you should receive a reward for your effort even if it is a hobby. You can create some of the most simple branding ideas and create a stream of income with the right tools. The tools will help focus your brand. This starts by first creating a target audience which can never be “everyone” you must have a niche to focus on and address your message to that group. After that which ever fits your brand best you must decide what makes your brand unique and why people should tap in with you rather than the nearest competitor. It can be simple it just needs to be authentic and the brand 24/7. Third you will need to decide how you will communicate your message. I would focus on establishing dominance in one domain before moving onto or adding anything else. Last you will need to allow people to recognize the brand by creating a strong identity so they can trace belonging to your logo and identity.

The Secret to Establishing "Experience"
Have you ever applied for a job and they ask for experience at an entry level position? It doesn’t make sense right.. or maybe it does because most of these type of jobs are more complex and require certain skills. These skills are very important for recruiters or managers to see on your resume before considering you for the position. Tons of people give up for these kind of positions simply because they don’t have any experience and have no idea where to obtain such experience if it is required for all entry level positions. The answer is free work, yes socially this is shamed upon because who works for free anymore. Well passionate and creative people work for free all the time and if it is something that you are almost certain you want to do you’d do it for free anyway especially if you are just starting out. This gives you free range to be creative in building your portfolio you can now pick and choose how you want to create and showcase your skillset. The more free work that you do will only increase your credibility. Internships are always being offered at most companies whether they are paid or unpaid, it is a foot in the door. I wouldn’t advise that you quit your job or put yourself in a bad situation financially. There are more ways than one to do free work. Most people would accept free work anyway that you can make it happen, so if you can help someone out on Tuesdays for a few hours there is a business out there willing to give you a chance. This is also another tip for gaining new connections since most businesses may not offer internships that does not mean they do not want or need help from you. Send those businesses that you admire messages and let them know what you can do to help and that your services and time are absolutely free of charge and wait for their response. If you receive a no just remember it only takes one yes. Use those yes’s as a proof of concept for your skillset and work your way into more growth opportunities.
