Ep.5 - Your Brain Has an Algorithm

Have you ever noticed that the moment you start paying attention to something, it suddenly seems to be everywhere?

Maybe it’s a destination you’re planning to visit, a car you’re thinking about buying, a business idea you’re exploring, or even a problem that’s consuming your thoughts. It can feel like the world suddenly shifted... but what if it’s actually your brain?

In this episode, we’re diving into the Reticular Activating System (RAS), the powerful filter in your brain that helps determine what gets your attention and what gets ignored. I’ll share why searching for a few things about my upcoming trip to Puglia suddenly made it feel like every influencer, travel guide, and social media post was about Puglia, and how our minds work a lot like the algorithms we interact with every day.

We’ll explore the science behind why you notice what you’re looking for, the viral “red car theory,” and how your focus can shape your experience of life. Because while you can’t control everything that happens to you, you can influence what your mind is trained to notice.

If you’re constantly focusing on scarcity, problems, and what’s missing, your brain will gather evidence to support that story. But if you intentionally begin looking for opportunities, gratitude, beauty, abundance, and possibility, you’ll start finding evidence of those things too.

This episode is a reminder that the world is full of things competing for your attention and what you choose to focus on may be shaping your reality more than you realize.

Because at the end of the day, you find what you’re looking for.

Ep.4 - Your Comfort Zone is Costing You More Than You Think

Growth isn’t comfortable.

In this episode, I’m diving into the idea that discomfort isn’t something to avoid, and in fact is often the exact thing standing between you and the life you want. Whether it’s starting a business, launching a podcast, trying a new hobby, having a difficult conversation, or pursuing a dream that feels bigger than you, every meaningful expansion requires a willingness to be uncomfortable.

I share personal stories from launching my Pilates studio, starting my RF Business, recording this podcast, and even stepping onto a tennis court as a beginner. Because the truth is, if you never do anything that feels uncomfortable, you’ll never change. You’ll stay exactly where you are.

We’ll explore why discomfort is a muscle that can be strengthened, how your comfort zone quietly becomes a limitation, and why learning to embrace temporary discomfort is one of the most powerful ways to create growth, confidence, and a life that feels deeply aligned.

If you’ve been waiting to feel ready before taking the next step, this episode is your reminder that growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone.

Ep.3 - Creation Over Consumption: Quantity Matters, Quality Matters More

Are you creating your life—or just consuming it?

In this episode, inspired by The Creative Act by Rick Rubin, we explore the delicate balance between creation and consumption and why so many of us spend our days taking in content instead of putting something meaningful back into the world. We also discuss why the creation muscle is imperative to being able to create your dream life

I share my reflections on how creation isn’t reserved for artists, entrepreneurs, or creators—it’s something we’re all called to practice in our own way. We also dive into the quality of what we consume and how the inputs we allow into our minds shape our thoughts, energy, and ultimately our lives.

From social media and news to books, podcasts, and conversations, not all consumption is created equal. We’ll talk about why most of what you consume should nourish, inspire, educate, or elevate you—and why only a small portion should be reserved for mindless entertainment or negativity.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, uninspired, or like you’re spending more time watching other people live than building your own life, this episode is a powerful reminder to create more, consume with intention, and become a conscious curator of your own mind.
