Sex, Seltzers and Things We Should’ve Asked First

Welcome to the premiere episode of In Bed With Sangya Season 2, where we talk pleasure, play, and everything in between. This one’s all about consent — not just as a checklist, but as a culture. In this episode, Aashish, Shweta, and Tanisha unpack the subtleties of asking for consent in intimate situations. Because let’s be honest: it’s easy to say “consent matters,” but how do you actually make it feel easy, sexy, and real in the moment? What if you’re nervous, unsure, or trying to keep the mood light? And what happens when alcohol is in the mix?To explore this, the hosts play a game. Each person presents a scenario where consent is often ignored, assumed, or awkwardly handled. The other two must find a way to ask for it—lightly, clearly, and sexily—while also being okay with a "no." The catch? They’re sipping on IST hard seltzers the whole time, and as the drinks flow, so does the chaos. The sharper lines get blurrier, the responses get messier, and the scenarios get harder to navigate.Because that’s the point: alcohol complicates consent, even in the safest of spaces.Through slurred words, giggles, and stumbles, this episode reveals how challenging it can be to maintain clarity, respect, and playfulness when your inhibitions start to lower—even with people you trust deeply. So, whether you’re exploring new dynamics, redefining boundaries, or just want to know how to make consent feel less intimidating and more natural, this episode is for you.🍑 Flirty. Funny. Fuzzy. But always honest.Watch, laugh, learn. And maybe rethink what makes consent sexy.About Sangya Project:Founded by a queer and poly family, Sangya Project is India’s first manufacturer of intimacy products for all desi bodies.
