Making time for God and His children

Another solo episode with Masabata. Join Masabata this week as she talks about the importance of making personal time to spend with God and making time to show up for God’s people. She reflects on how she has made excuses for not making time to spend at God’s feet in the busyness of life and working to change that. Though life can get busy, it’s always important to set aside some time for God daily. The most important commandments are to love God and to love His children. One simply cannot exists without the other nor should we try to substitute one for the other. It is important to make time for God and His children simultaneously. How are you intentionally making time for God and for His children today? Comment down below and let us know.

Overcoming fear

In this first solo episode with Masabata. She talks about fear of the modern day ‘Jewish authorities’ that causes us to keep our walk with Christ a secret. She talk about facing how freeing it has been, being able to simply let God be her protector, as someone that used to be highly paranoid. She shares some instances where she has let the fear of others win over what the Spirit is telling her to do. To anyone out there who feels like they need to hide their walk with Christ because of fear of what others may say or think, this episode is for you. Peace be with you all.

Content consumption may be permissible but not all is beneficial ft Neo Mtolo

You ever feel like you’re being convicted every time you watch, listen or see something as you’re scrolling on social media? Join us this week as we are joined by a good friend of the show, Neo Mtolo, as we talk about how challenging it is navigating the daily content we consume. Just because certain things aren’t wrong doesn’t mean they are useful. Masabata shares with us how certain kinds of tv shows she used to consume are no longer useful to her now as she journeys with Christ. If we really are what we consume, who would you be? Let us know your option on the topic in the comments below.
