[…] And so we started, we stopped thinking about like, okay, specialized mental health supervision is not working, so let's throw it out. We stepped back, we looked at the research, like the research I did in my dissertation on officer well-being, and started having conversations about like, okay, how can we better position the officers? What implementation strategies do can we undertake so that they're better positioned to be able to implement that evidence-based practice, implement that specialized mental health supervision that we're asking them to implement. That was kind of a big, a pivotal moment for me when we started working from, so me and Tanya, and I'm sure it'll come up more, we brought in a clinical case consult, a therapist, for the officers, not people on supervision, with the idea of if we can take better care of our officers, They'll take better care of the services.
