JAM SESSIONS - Tom Fortes Mayer on transformation, music as therapy & the embodied man.
This week I am joined by Tom Fortes Mayer..and it's no secret that Tom's work has a huge impact on my own personal inner work journey. I freakin' LOVE this man's message, energy, mission and insight. For those new to Tom's work, here's a little bit of backstory for you..
"On January 2nd of the year 2000 I experienced a profound moment of clarity that completely changed my life in an instant.
Since that time I have been absolutely obsessed with understanding the human condition. I have dedicated my life to understanding how we can create success and where real happiness comes from, what gets in the way of it and what can be done to reconnect to our natural ability to thrive in life. I have studied and qualified in many transformational modalities and I continually challenge and develop myself personally and professionally.
I am specifically fascinated with understanding the art and science of how to engineer epiphanies.
Through this work, I formulated a new model of accelerated transformation called the FreeMind system that empowers people to overcome their own difficulties and achieve their goals.
I am passionate about sharing those techniques and in 2005 I began building a library of powerful guided musical meditations that enable people to do this kind of deep transformational work on themselves.
I articulated the FreeMind system in my book called the FreeMind Experience, which was published by Watkins in 2013.
In 2017 I was approached by investors to make more recordings and build the FreeMind app. That was launched in 2019 with over 280 meditations to help people in every area of their life. That year we won the award for best meditation app from the prestigious Health & Beauty magazine.
When people dissolve the thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours that are holding them back and they replace them with thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours that inspire them, they are able to create incredible lives that they love without becoming burnt out, stressed out workaholics."
Tom is now stepping into supporting men realise their inner King's in truth, vulnerability and complete embodiment. I for one, cannot wait to witness this next round of work and this mission unfold with Tom at the helm. You can binge Tom's content on Facebook here (https://www.facebook.com/tomfreemind) or connect via his website here (https://www.tomfortesmayer.com).
Enjoy.
