Dear Mayor Hancock,
This is one of the best places to live in the country, according to some. But as the holidays approach, as the leaves change colors, as the temperature drops, for those left outside, it becomes very unpleasant. Add to that, you are conducting brutal sweeps of encampments across the city, enforcing your urban camping ban, destroying citizens property, and their lives. In the wake of covid, many more people who are out of work will be evicted and experiencing homelessness. Who’s next? Imagine having nowhere to wash your hands in the middle of a pandemic. Nowhere to use the bathroom. Or maintain your menstrual hygiene. You already have a $300,000 contract with Liberty Waste, that could provide adequate sanitation and portable restrooms for our unhoused neighbors. Our message to you Mayor Hancock; End the Sweeps Now. Provide adequate portable bathroom and sanitation facilities for Denver’s unhoused neighbors! Provide Safe Outdoor Space for people experiencing homelessness now.
Sincerely,
Your City. Our City

DENVER City Council Needs Our HELP
In this episode we provide insight into (DENVER, CO) city politics by first explaining 'How City Government Works' as relayed by http://denvergov.org while encouraging ALL PEOPLE to VOTE: take more of an interest and roll in local political procedures. We highlight council woman CANDI CdeBACA who can be found anywhere on social media by searching @candicdebacad9. She recently released a proposal, displayed in the cover art for EP3, that is very important and deserves the ATTENTION... SUPPORT... & CONSIDERATION of US ALL!!! As always, we have a couple songs for your listening pleasure. We do remind you we reserve the right to all audio encountered. We appreciate your presence on this sonic journey and look forward to hearing from you via comment or at the next Sunday (LIVE) on FB-Much Love and Many Blessings! #InDaHousewith1natVson1 PLEASE... below are few points that can guide you along ✊🏾❣️✨
______________________
💌 Send EMAIL to COUNCIL HERE📲 l.linklyhq.com/l/5uGD 👀 📝 The accountability package is the following in case you need to break it down for anyone signed up to speak on Monday (Public Comment City Council):
1. A bill to allow City Council to appoint the Independent Monitor INSTEAD of the Mayor.
2. A bill to create a nominating commission for the City Attorney that sends candidates to the mayor instead of letting him pick alone who represents all us the independently elected bodies. The nominating commission will be the independently elected bodies the City attorney represents plus Independent Monitor and a citizen the monitor chooses who is likely a member of the Citizen Oversight Board.
3. A bill to replace DPD with a Peace Enforcement Department instead of Police. It’s a way for us to get around Police collective bargaining and make "safety" about more than police.
It also helps to prove that community wants the opportunity to vote on these three things and that protesters have been demanding action in this way for months and nobody else is taking action except me. They are going to try to block this saying that not enough community engagement was done...blah blah blah because they weaponize process when they dont like something. The point of these things going to the voters is to obtain the broadest community engagement possible!
The Peacekeeping Department does not automatically disarm all police. It does not get rid of emergency response. I actually makes room for appropriate professionals and appropriate responses.
The Mayor is also trying to get council to approve the new 2 yr long Collective Bargaining Agreement with cops that gives them a salary increase in.the 2nd year!!

Aurora PD (Fire or Abolish)
In this episode Mhe Blak OG Myles H-eye Ent. joins along as we discuss an unfortunate event that took place in Aurora involving a wonderful family (Mother & Kids ages 6-17) being “mistakenly” made to lay upon the hot asphalt while APD fumbled around lost trying to figure out what they are doing. We will no longer tolerate the misuse and abuse of our brothers and sisters in the community at large. We give a sneak peak of a new track being released by 1-natVson-1 Feat. AKX of RIGHTEOUS REVOLUTION titled “In The Crowd”. A track crafted from the forge of reform. I pray all is well and invite you to join in on the conversation then meet us live every other Sunday starting Aug. 16th 2020.
