We still have quite a few listener questions from our Kalam series, so today we'll be going through a few more. We'll be discussing what makes the Kalam effective, why it infers attributes of God, and the philosophical implications of infinity on Mathematics.

Matthew 17:20 & 7:1-2 | "What Was That?"
What does faith the size of a mustard seed really mean? Is it possible to even attain that much faith? How do we judge rightly? In our final episode in our current series, Dr. Willert will attempt to break down the common misconceptions in these verses and try to present an answer for what the scriptures really speak to on these issues.
We will be taking a short break while we prepare our next series, but if you have any questions or comments to leave us while we are on our hiatus, we love hearing from our listeners and will still be available to answer your emails!

Is money the root of all evil? Can a child lose their faith? Does God know the plans he has for us? The Nature of The Universe | The Kalam Cosmological Argument Part V
Today we discuss the first cause of the universe. If the Kalam argument is true, is it about to tell us anything about the nature of the first cause of the universe? We will find that it does! We then discuss specific attributes that would pertain to the first cause of the universe. After we have obtained these attributes, we take a look at Christian Scripture, to discuss the reasonableness of the Christian theist to think and believe that a being like God exists.

An Actual Infinity | The Kalam Cosmological Argument Part IV
In today’s episode, we briefly dive into premise two of the argument and we look at both the philosophical considerations and scientific considerations to think that this premise is true. It will go over Dr. Craig’s work on the belief of an actual infinity not being able to exist in reality, to then discuss two scientific considerations arguing that given our best inference of the world, we are on safe grounds to believe that premise two is true.

Explaining Premise One | The Kalam Cosmological Argument Part III
In today’s episode, we dive into the first premise of the Kalam: Everything that begins to exist has a cause of its existence. Typically, this premise is assumed true and accepted, but you will find two major reasons why one should believe it to be true. We will discuss reasons from empirical evidence to the weird costs or reality we would have to be willing to accept to believe this first premise is false. If we accept this premise to be true or more plausibly true, this will then turn us to episode 4, our discussion of premise 2 of the argument.

We will discuss and give examples of inductive vs. deductive argumentation and reasoning, as well as understand what makes an argument valid and sound.
