Who Are You Without the Story?

For years, I introduced myself through the roles I played. The strong one. The achiever. The caretaker. The rescuer. The one who always figured it out. But what happens when the identities that once helped us survive no longer fit the person we’re becoming? In this deeply personal episode, I explore the stories we tell ourselves, the identities we build around our experiences, and the courage it takes to release the versions of ourselves we’ve outgrown. I share reflections on self-worth, relationships, resilience, people-pleasing, turning 50, and a powerful lesson that emerged during an ayahuasca ceremony that left me asking: Who am I without the story? Together, we’ll explore: * Why survival identities can become prisons when growth begins * The difference between who we are and the stories we’ve built around our experiences * How self-worth becomes tangled with achievement, caregiving, and being needed * Why letting go of an identity can feel like grief * The role self-trust plays in becoming who we’re meant to be If you’ve ever found yourself standing between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming, this conversation is for you. Reflection Question What story are you still telling yourself that no longer fits who you’re becoming? ⸻ Connect & Work With Me If this episode resonated with you and you’re navigating a season of transition, stress, burnout, grief, uncertainty, or personal growth, I’d love to connect. The Winter Season of Becoming | Permission, Healing & Expansion at Midlife—Season 2, Episode 1

After six months of silence, Sia Jaya returns to the microphone to share what she calls her “winter season”; a quiet period of reflection, healing, and deep personal integration. Turning fifty invited a different rhythm of living. Instead of chasing another breakthrough, Sia allowed herself to pause, listen, and begin rebuilding her relationship with herself from the inside out. In this deeply honest episode, she reflects on the patterns many women carry for decades: over-giving, rescuing others, seeking love through sacrifice, and forgetting their own needs along the way. She shares the moment she decided to radically shift her health and well-being, the lessons she integrated from plant medicine ceremonies, and the powerful realization that sometimes people don’t love the light you carry. They love the convenience of your rescue. This episode is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and give yourself permission to live more honestly. You’ll also hear about Sia’s word for the coming year: expansion…and how the quiet seasons of life prepare us for the next chapter of becoming. At the end of the episode, Sia offers a simple but powerful practice: writing yourself a permission slip that allows you to step into the life that has been waiting for you. If you are in a season of healing, reflection, or transformation, this conversation is for you. You are not behind. You are not broken. You are becoming. Episode 10–Surrender, Support, and the Tools That Carry Us

In this episode of In My Becoming I share some of the vivid dreams that have been speaking to me lately. Dreams are not literal. They are symbolic messages from the subconscious about surrender, strength, and support. Through the images of a farm, a store of shovels, and babies not yet ready to be born, I explore what it means to protect what we have grown, to choose the right tools, and to trust the timing of what is still becoming. I reflect on my younger self who used to fight to survive and prove her worth, and how I have shifted into thriving. I no longer need outside validation. My worth lives within me. I connect these lessons to my mom’s resistance to assistive devices, to my own journey in starting Flow & Frequency, and to the role of mentors and coaches who guide us like a GPS when we cannot see the bigger picture. This episode is a reminder that surrender is not weakness. It is sacred strength. It is allowing the canes, the walkers, the coaches, the mirrors, the Spirit guides, the tools that carry us, to help us keep moving toward the life that is already waiting. If you are ready to explore and release old beliefs and patterns you no longer want to carry, you can schedule a virtual sound healing session with Flow & Frequency. From the comfort of your home, using headphones, the frequencies and vibrations move through your body and into your subconscious, helping you reset and transform on every level. You can also join an immersive group session or step into a six-week one-on-one transformative journey designed to help you go deeper, release what no longer serves you, and return to your natural rhythm. 📧 Email: hello@flowandfrequency.com 🌐 Website: flowandfrequency.com 📸 Instagram: @flow.and.frequency

   Celebrating turning 50…and still becoming

This episode is a love letter to every woman who has ever held her breath waiting to be enough, waiting to be seen, waiting to finally live for herself. On my 50th birthday, I reflect on the moment that changed everything: the night I nearly lost my life to a pulmonary embolism. I share the promise I made in that hospital bed and the years it took to truly live it. I talk about grief. About the ache of not hearing my father’s birthday call this year. About the tenderness of becoming better for everyone else before I ever chose myself. About standing at a new threshold and asking: What could life look like if I went all in? This is not a celebration of age. It’s a celebration of awareness, of spirit, and of finally remembering what matters. If you’re ready to stop performing and start becoming this episode is for you. Episode 7: I Walked as Prayer

In this sacred reflection, Sia Jaya takes you on a soul-stirring journey through the ancient city of Ephesus, walking the paths of Mary, Artemis, and the mystics whose wisdom still lives in stone. This isn’t just a travel story. It’s a remembering. You’ll hear stories of sacred symbols tucked quietly into the ruins, a carved menorah that lit something ancestral within her, and a deep longing to reclaim the feminine voice, one that was often left out of history, yet never absent from it. From the Library of Celsus to the House of Mary, from reverent stillness to wild feminine embodiment, this episode is a prayer in motion for all who walk in remembrance, and all who’ve ever felt unseen but divinely present. ✨ Download your free Sound & Stillness Ritual: https://flowandfrequency.kit.com/2ee1fed0a2 🌐 Connect with Sia Jaya: Website: flowandfrequency.com Instagram: @flow.and.frequency 🌀 If this episode moved you, please subscribe, share it, and leave a review or comment—it helps more women find this sacred space to rise and remember.

   Fear Is Not the Truth

What if fear wasn’t the truth? What if the thing you’re afraid of is actually the path to your freedom? In this episode, I reflect on ten days of solo travel through Greece and Turkey. From sacred ruins to island coastlines and how choosing myself over fear has shaped my becoming. I share powerful moments of synchronicity, including an unexpected reunion with a mentor I deeply admire, and why it reminded me that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. This is a love letter to every woman who’s been taught to wait. To the ones who want more, but aren’t sure they’re allowed to take the leap. And to the brave souls choosing freedom anyway. ✨ Listen in and remember: fear is not your compass.
