Welcome to the very first episode of our Women Series - Roots.
This series is all about exploring the stories we’ve been told and the ones we tell ourselves about who we are, what we’re capable of, and whether we truly belong in spaces of influence and leadership. We’re tracing these roots, gently and honestly, to uncover how inner narratives and social conditioning have shaped the way women show up in the world.
In this opening episode, we ask a question that many of us have quietly carried: Am I enough?
This conversation was first recorded during a live session on Instagram, where women from our community shared deeply personal reflections on how this question has shaped their identity, leadership, and sense of worth. Their honesty, vulnerability, and strength remind us that we are already whole and complete, lacking in nothing.

The Final Push
In sickness and in health, till death do us part...
I remember writing this particular piece and I had so many thoughts. It came with a voice carrying rage and madness, I imagined the character made drunk by scarlet in a cup, laughing loudly in a prisoner's attire. But this will do, I am not healthy enough to do all of the things that I wanted to do for this piece and time will not allow me.
To the three people who will always listen to my work - Chylde, Kaymor and Adoyiza, thank you! You have all my love. Till we meet again, cheers.

Mad Max
Female subjugation. Subjecting, harassing and domestically abusing young girls, are cancers deeply embedded in the body of our dear African societies. We have culture laced with this polluted and abusive threads, tightly knit to norms and value systems which are very harmful to the mind and spirit.
Today's Armageddon piece talks about these things. It portrays the anger of an African girl who is typically living the "abnormal life" that would be familiar only to perpetrators and enablers of Gender-Based Violence in a domestic setting.
I shared my story through this audio drama and I hope that you see that these things ought to make your skin crawl and make you Mad like Max.
