Instead, he ended up paralysed from the waist down.&nbsp;</p> <p>Devastated, confused and angry, he felt alone. And, he was still living with the unbearable pain in his foot. After 13 years and 40 operations, Jamie’s leg was amputated. He was finally relieved of the pain and finally able to walk.
