<p>In this final episode, New Mexico-based artist Krista Arias joins host Toby Lawrence and a live audience via Zoom to read from her collection of her poetry, Xingona Girl Smoke: the pace and posture of permission. As part of her 2021 exhibition, The Earth is my Elder, at Open Space, the evening began with an introduction to the work, followed by a screening of her video-poem Eating Our Ancestors, a selection of poems read by Krista, and Q &A.</p>
