Vásquez currently serves as the Academic Support Program Director at the Digital Learning &amp; Academic Support Center (DLASC) at Baton Rouge Community College. Axel shares insights from his background as a College Navigator, where he advised academically underprepared, underserved minority, and low-middle income students. Before his appointment at BRCC in May of 2023, he also worked in Human Resources at UL Lafayette. Axel provides valuable perspectives on supporting student success, overcoming academic challenges, and ensuring students stay on track.</p>
