Just a couple of guys trying to tackle the often overlooked topic of men's mental health from their own experiences.

This week you may notice something different about the podcast. Yup, you got it, Dave is rolling solo this week speaking to Zach Gale, the CEO/Founder of Me2We, a men’s group dedicated to personal growth and collective empowerment. Zach’s organization is legitimately inspirational, and even though they didn’t do any kind of deep dive into Dave’s inability to differentiate between time zones, the conversation is still full of very insightful topics and information.
If you want to know more about Me2We, you can find their website here (https://me2-we.org/) or check out their Instagram here (https://www.instagram.com/me2we_smb/).
Additionally, if you want to get in touch with Zach and get more information you can email him at me2wesmb@gmail.com.

Episode 31 - We Chat AI and How It Can Affect Men’s Mental Health
Yes that’s a long title, but there’s no real way to succinctly summarize what we discuss this week. We discuss all things AI from chat bot infatuation, to terminators, from data privacy to self-diagnosis and all things in between. Here’s the thing: it is not lost on us that the hot-button issue of the day is AI and how it may affect humanity negatively, but the way it is portrayed in the news is sensationalist. The reality of how AI is affecting us is much more nuanced and, like many things we discuss, not black and white and not going away any time soon. So we do what we do best and try to understand how many cigarettes Linda Hamilton smokes in a day. There’s also some discussion about the psychological pitfalls that people are experiencing as they turn over more and more daily functions to the machines.
If you listen to one podcast this year it should be this one…or maybe you should listen to more than one per year.

Episode 30 - Cleaning Out the Garage
Everyone loves a good game. Here at In the Garage we certainly enjoy a good game, so we decided that for our 30th we would play one to see how well Dave remembered the previous 29 episodes. This week we’ll get a little deep, but mostly we’ll have a good time circling back through our journey. If this is your first time watching/listening, it’s a great introduction to what we’re all about, and if you’ve listened to our episodes leading up to this, then it’s a fun look back.
