SPS: The Bottom Dollar
This wk (in season 2 ep 4 of ITK)………..
We discuss the overwhelming focus of SPS administration on funding (and what we, in QCW, believe is an obvious misuse of said funding) …to the detriment of safety, quality education/critical thinking, preparing students for the real world!
We lay out 3 different areas of concern: *AMI Packets (what they are, the asinine material w/i them, why/how SPS uses em to get more funding)…*Very poor/no standards (in grading/assessing students’ comprehension levels/graduation #’s, etc)…*Top heavy administration/cutting critical job positions.

This wk we’re talkin about the history of school lunches/National School Lunch Program (and the various forms it has taken f/ the 60’s to today.) We talk about the ultra processed-sugar/fat filled food that has been/still being served to kids @ school (particularly SPS) and how it has contributed to skyrocketing childhood obesity/diabetes.….and we talk a bit about how that correlates to a massive uptick in behavioral problems at school!
