   Flip This House

What happens when your life gets cleaned up, but Jesus never moves in? In “Flip This House,” Pastor Rick preaches from Matthew 12:43–45, where Jesus tells the unsettling story of an impure spirit that leaves a person only to return and find the “house” swept clean, put in order, but unoccupied. As we enter October, conversations about demons, witches, Halloween, spiritual warfare, and the supernatural are everywhere. But the Bible does not call Christians to become obsessed with darkness. Scripture points us toward the authority of Jesus Christ and teaches us how to stand firm against the enemy while keeping our focus on Christ. Following Jesus’ words verse by verse, we look at this passage through the process of flipping a house: what has to come out, what gets cleaned up, and most importantly, who moves in when the work is finished. A changed life is not necessarily a Christ-filled life. An empty house is still an available house. The question isn’t only, “What has left my life?” The greater question is: “Who lives here now?” Scripture: Matthew 12:43–45 (NIV) Topics: Christian sermon, spiritual warfare, demons in the Bible, Jesus and demons, Matthew 12, supernatural Bible teaching, resisting Satan, authority of Jesus Christ, Christian living, demonic spirits, biblical supernatural, faith in Jesus “Flip This House” begins an October journey into what the Bible actually teaches about the supernatural, the demonic realm, and the overwhelming authority of Jesus Christ. #Demons #October #Ghosts

What’s The Story Behind Your Worship?

What’s the story behind your worship? In Luke 7:47, Jesus shows us that worship is more than a song, a raised hand, or something we do on Sunday morning. Real worship has a story behind it. In this message, “What’s The Story Behind Your Worship?”, Pastor Rick explores the powerful encounter between Jesus, Simon the Pharisee, and the woman who came to Jesus with tears, humility, and costly perfume. Her worship made sense when you understood what Jesus had done for her. Discover why worship is born from gratitude rather than performance, why Jesus sees the heart behind our worship, and why recognizing the depth of God’s forgiveness can transform the way we respond to Him. #worship #Bible #JesusIsLord #SundaySermon

You Are Allowed to Rest | Finding Rest in Jesus

Are you tired physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually? Sometimes we become so busy taking care of everyone and everything that we forget Jesus never designed us to run without stopping. In “You Are Allowed to Rest,” Pastor Rick walks through Mark 6:30–32, where Jesus recognizes that His disciples have been pouring themselves out and tells them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” This encouraging Christian sermon reminds us that rest is not laziness, exhaustion is not always failure, and sometimes trusting God means knowing when to stop. In this message, discover why you must return to Jesus after pouring yourself out, how Jesus recognizes your exhaustion, and why sometimes you simply need to “get in the boat” and make room for rest. God is still God while you sleep. You are allowed to rest.
